Leading a complex PMI across geographies and functions for CVC.

Post-Merger Integration is one of the most demanding things I do — and one of the most impactful.

Following Syntegon's acquisition of Telstar in 2024, two leading pharmaceutical processing & packaging equipment players, I had the privilege to lead the PMI alongside leadership teams across geographies and functions.

The scale

  • 40 people mobilized
  • 15 workstreams
  • 1,000 integration actions closed

Covering Governance, Operations, Commercial Interfaces and Services.

The outcomes

Beyond numbers, this PMI delivered concrete results: a significantly expanded pharmaceutical liquid filling & aseptic portfolio, strong customer feedback, and first joint commercial wins shortly after closing.

The lesson

Over time, I have learned that PMI is less about frameworks and more about leadership, cadence, trust and disciplined execution.
